Acuity is seeking a Technical Support Analyst Intern. Under general supervision, the intern will install PC hardware and software, mobile device systems, and any related peripherals. The individual will load and verify operation of software such as operating systems, word processors, spreadsheets, and other applicable software. The intern will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and user problems as well as provide training and technical assistance to our end users.
Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Associate Degree program with an emphasis in Computer Science or MIS with a high degree of achievement.
Exposure and/or experience in computer software and hardware installation, operating systems, mobile devices, and troubleshooting skills preferred. Network technical training or equivalent and experience in network communications desirable.
This position is classified as non-exempt.
