  • Overview

    Acuity is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to partner with various internal and external customers to identify, evaluate, and develop systems, procedures and practices, which are streamlined and meet the business needs of the company.  

    Responsibilities

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Effectively and openly communicate with individuals at all levels, including employees, agents, and vendors
    • Encourage teamwork through participation in the obtainment of common goals and the business needs of the company
    • Analyze data and requirements to develop technical or workflow/process solutions, draft or update specifications, and provide user-acceptance testing and production support
    • Ability to explain issues and resolutions to technical and non-technical staff
    • Assure appropriate documentation to communicate business needs
    • Coordinate and conduct training as needed
    • Regular and predictable attendance
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Some travel may be required for situations such as agency contact, training, and professional seminars

     

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelors Degree. Diverse backgrounds welcome - including both business-related and liberal arts majors.

     

    OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Effectively work with people from varied disciplines and settings
    • Ability to quickly adapt to change through utilization of new concepts and technologies
    • Excellent skills in verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions
    • Strong capabilities in research, critical thinking, and analysis
    • Interest in system design and continuous improvement, from a business (non-programming) perspective
    • Effectively organize and accomplish tasks

     This position is classified as exempt.
